On the Books in South Carolina, Mining for Jim Crow Laws

This project illustrates the use of CreateDigital's Omeka software. Funded by UNC's Mellon grant, the team used machine learning to identify Jim Crow laws in South Carolina.

The site includes the capability to search the archived data for topics and candidate information.
